In fact I’ll share my recent comparison video below. Regarding the VTX-L, I have been chatting with the Carl and the HDZero team, great group over there and I might be assisting with some testing in the future. I certainly have a unique situation ideal for testing. "Live to Hobby" - FPV Drones, RC Planes, Motorcycles and Cameras! Never Bored... Part III “Analog vs HDZero Camera Comparisons” I wanted to do a true side-by-side comparison of the systems and cameras but don’t have the proper equipment… but I did managed to fly some pretty identical flight paths and I think it provides a good sense of each camera/system. I really wish they also did some work with the OSD MSP. It is still super glitchy. And I'd really like the artificial horizon and side bars working. And I'd really like the artificial horizon and side bars working. Thanks Ronin, crazy test flight for sure! The OSD looks especially glitchy because I have the video sped up so much, but the issue has to do with the number of OSD elements on the screen. i believe you can display any/all BF OSD elements on the screen including Horizon and Side Bars. However once you exceed a certain number of elements things get weird… mine works fine until the Low Battery warning turns on, then it causes certain elements to flash. Someone had mentioned this could be related to the “serial buffer size”, which could be adjusted in the BF code, but it’s beyond my level of understanding at the moment. Anyway, was a great test flight, the max of my current drone, but parts for the 7” are coming soon, then we’ll continue pushing and go visit some proper mountains! Definitely excited to test the new VTX… 1W will be a huge improvement! Hoping to do some initial testing in January! "Live to Hobby" - FPV Drones, RC Planes, Motorcycles and Cameras! Never Bored... Wow that's a sweet video, much quality in both the review, the flights and technically in the video itself, I'm getting my own 1w vtx in the next few days too, can't wait to try it Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 27-Feb-2022, 07:23 PM (This post was last modified: 27-Feb-2022, 07:26 PM by the.ronin.) Man, GAC your place is awesome!! It's like living in a National Geographic magazine lol. Thanks for what's obviously a LOT of edit work on that video. It's very informative and hits on the big concerns and questions surrounding the brick VTX. Appreciate the comment, this was a huge effort but i wanted to it to be both informational and entertaining. I spend hours on every detail, 90% of which people probably won’t even notice. Fun Fact: After the intro there is a short clip showing the VTX flying around, and the song lyrics are “wanna feel the heat” Thought that was funny, since the VTX runs so hot! But sure no one thought about it. And yea, that mountain scene 100% felt National Geographic, that’s all I kept thinking when color grading and editing that part. Thanks for watching and commenting, always appreciate the support. Cheers! "Live to Hobby" - FPV Drones, RC Planes, Motorcycles and Cameras! Never Bored...
