My First Wing Flying Experience :D
#1
It's amazing!
I've had this wing for over year. I really struggled because it wouldn't even take off! I wasn't even sure if it was built correctly and was able to fly at all.
My fly buddy Gianpa flew it line of sight today and he gave me confidence that the wing is actually working, so the problem was launching Smile
So he helped me launch it and I flew it in FPV successfully!

Well done Oscar!  Great looking first flights!  Years (a lot of them) ago I used to fly RC sailplanes....different from a wing of course, but I remember the sensation of wing generated lift.  Lots of fun indeed! Big Grin
"Damn the torpedoes!!!  Full speed ahead!!!"

Like... "Build a wing and manage to fly it a year later" ?

(I am laughing, but it took me 5-6 months to make my S800 fly Big Grin )

The sticks are completely different:
increase throttle makes you go faster and have more control to the craft
to go up and down you use your pitch stick
to turn left or right you have to use both pitch and roll (pretty much like a quad), but i still keep moving yaw stick sometimes and of course that doesn't do anything lol Big Grin
It's fun and i am sure you can pick it up on your first day since you know how to fly quads very well Big Grin flying FPV is a lot easier than LOS IMO Smile

I'm so dang jealous!! I have been back and forth on getting a wing, but I am absolutely terrified to try and fly it. No idea what I'd be doing.
