Motors for GEPRC Cinelog 3.5 Performance - I am confused
#1
Hi,

Please help to choose motors for Cinewhoop 'GEPRC Cinelog 3.5 Performance'. I want mount Gopro hero 10/11 - 6S 1300mah,  props with 5 blades.

My questions are regarding motors:
Prebuild version comes with 'GEPRC SPEEDX2 2105.5 2650KV Motors' for 6S Lipo.
-----------------------
  • Can I use motor with screw 5M instead of  'T-mount' mounting ?
         Example : T-MOTOR F2203.5 KV2850
         If its ok: KV1500, KV2850 or KV3550
Or it's not good idea at all?

Motors with T-Mount
  • 'Micro IFlight XING 2005 1700KV.
According to specs it's good for 4-6S', but requires iflight special antenna.. what is it?
  • iFlight XING 2203.5 1900KV / 2700KV 4-6S FPV Motor with 1.5mm Shaft
    1900KV or 2700KV - for Cinelog with Hero - 6S Battery
  • iFlight XING 2005 1900KV / 2550KV 4-6S
    1900KV or 2550KV ?
  • T-motor F2004 KV1700 / KV3000 6S
    KV1700 or KV3000
There is a previous version 'GEPRC Cinelog 3.5 ' with 2004 motor.
  • BETAFPV 2004 6S 1700KV / 4S 3000KV
In this case it's very clear . for 6S need KV1700 motor and for 4S KV3000
  • GEP GR2004 1750/2550K
    6S KV1750 and 4S 2550K

I am confused with the "Performance version" , Is there new generation of motors? Or maybe it's my lack of knowledge ?

Thank You

"big" t-mount motors have often a small motormount. motor mount could be important.
you can use a motor with shaft and nut. i do t now, are there 3.5inch 5blade rotors for m5 shaft?

Thanks,
what do you mean by saying "big" T-mount ?

Probably I will take this one "iFlight XING 2203.5 1900KV  Motor with 1.5mm Shaft".

There's 3.5" 5 blade with 5mm motor shaft mount or 1.5mm with adaptor like the Gemfan D90-5.

Don't restrict yourself to just the T mount only motors You can definitely use other 5mm shaft motor as long as they have 12x12mm M2 mounting holes to fit the Cinelog 35 frame.

For 13006s with GoPro 11, i think 2004 will be a bit underpowered that's why they use 2105.5 for the performance version.

I had build one Dji Cinelog 35 6S with Iflight Xing 2205 2300kv 5mm shaft motors using the D90-5 props. I use 1100mah to 1250mah 6s. Probably too much motor for the frame in hindsight and T Motor 2203.5 with 5mm shaft would be better choice to save some weight.

Hi,
You are right about about 2004 - it was just an example what geprc installed on the previous version.
I've ordered 'iFlight XING 2203.5 1900KV'.

big as there are rarely bigger motors than 2004 with t-mount. t-mount was traditionaly used for micros smaller than 3inch.

that sounds soo heavy to me jasper :-) i like to get a footage example please :-)

It is over motored for the prop size. Might be a while before any footage.... Dodgy Rolleyes

I'm sorry to say mate you might have trouble with those motors.  The T-mount on them is not standard.  I know this unfortunately through experience.
They use a custom mount just for ONE TYPE of propellor also from iflight.

See the website details here: https://shop.iflight-rc.com/xing-2203-5-...ft-pro1437
NOTE: propeller does not include. It's only compatible with Nazgul 5030 Tri-blade Prop

T-mount motors have standard 5mm diameter for prop mounts.  This motor is 6mm diameter.

effing iflight...

I see know, unfortunately I have ordered 6 of them.

For 'GEPRC Cinelog 3.5 Performance' I will buy original SPEEDX2 2105.5 2650KV Motors.
because I already ordered props :
Gemfan D90S 90mm 3-Blade
Gemfan D90 Ducted 90mm-5 5-Blade
