Hello, ive recently crashed my quad and ever since, I can not get a motor to spin correctly. When i try to arm my motors one of them ends up does three to five short spins and then makes the same sound when you first power the quad up. Any ideas on how to fix that before i go and buy a new one??

You may have bent the shaft or damaged the magnets / stator / windings. Not always easy to tell without taking it apart. It could also be an issue with the solder joints where the 3 wires attach to the windings. You would need to cut off the heatshrink to check.

One other thing. To ensure the problem definitely is the motor and not an ESC, swap the motor over with another one and see if the problem remains with the suspect motor.

Can you spin the motor freely as the other motors when it's powered of and lipo disconnected?
