Moblite 7 HDZero BetaFlight 4.4 tune
#1
Anyone found a good tune for Moblite7 HDZero on BF 4.4, without yaw washout?

yaw washout is mainly a power issue. make sure you use decent batteries.

higher motortiming can help on 1s

uavtech has a nice vid about tuning about washout

Quite surprised by your post as while my Moblite 7 HDZero ELRS came with a few issues, yaw washout was totally absent with the standard tune and has remained so.

You don't say which radio you are using, BTW.

I stopped my main control ssue (poor throttle stability making height management a pain) after "tuning" failed to cure my issues by throwing the 2 blades away and fitting 4 blade props, actually some old ones sold for the LDARC Tiny7. While I was concerned that this would overload the motors, handling improved a lot including better grip on turns and the motors remain cool, without any tune alterations.

It's currently grounded as the VTX now works for seconds before rainbowing and then blanking, while twisting the PCB slightly and holding same brings it back for the expected battery life, so its not a battery or inherent temperature shutdown issue.

I have Dogcom 1S 450 mAh "100 C" (right), 6 pieces each with around 12 flights, BT 2.0 connector. I'll watch the video, thanks

The only real issue I'm having is the yaw washout, it happens when I "overspeed" the quad (dives usually). It just yaws (quick snap) 90 degrees, usually to the right.
Mine unfortunately doesn't have BMI270 but ICM42688

I'm using Radiomaster TX16S Mark II

Tried different preset tunes in BF, but none of them performed the way I would like. I'll guess I'll have to learn PID tuning again (last time I did it was around 10 years on multiwii lol)

Also I'll order some 3 and 4-blade props, but first I'll try out quicksilver, interwebs say good things about it and it's presets for whoops.
