Hello,

I have a strange problem with my BetaFPV Meteor 65 (2021), FrSky version. It worked fine for a long time. Now it only flashes the purple LED while the red one is on all the time. The video feed works fine, but strangely enough the OSD has completely disappeared. It also does not respond to any remote control commands, needless to say.

Before that, I accidentally plugged in a dead battery, which caused a power loss and a slow descent, then the video feed went out - nothing that really explains what is going on.

Since I can't find a manual for the Meteor 65 or any information about the LED signals on the BetaFPV home page, I'm hoping someone here can help me out or give me some tips on what to do. Thanks in advance!

Haha, yeah. So I managed to solve the problem myself. Sorry for wasting your time.

However, in case anyone else finds this helpful in the future, here is my solution.

I downloaded a CLI dump from here: https://support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/art...eor65-2021-
I uploaded the CLI using Betaflight Configurator.

Everything seems to work now!

You might have tanked the firmware with the almost dead battery.  It happens from time to time.  So to fix it.

1. Hold down Boot button or bridge connections if that's how your FC works.  i think with the M65 it is a boot button.  Then load Betaflight Configurator and flash it with something.  Since you are using a 2021 SPI-FrSky, you need Maintenance 4.2, target BETAFPVF411RX and try firmware version 4.2.11, then see how that works.  you will need to rebind the radio and maybe set it up again.  but I would rebind the radio, setup the video, setup arm in modes and put a battery in it and see if it will hover.  if it does, continue to set it up all the way.

Other possibilities if no OSD, is the VTX either died or BetaFPV's subpar soldering caused a wire to snap off.
