MAMBA APP F722 MK1 tiny chip lost
#1
I was having a hard time getting this FC to take heat while soldering on the rx2, tx2, rx5, tx5, and the 5v, and ground between those two sets. I believe I knocked off a small chip, I’m not sure if it’s a resistor, capacitor, or what. I’m hoping someone can help me identify it. I am adding a picture with the missing chip circled.

I can’t make out the exact colour whether its black (resistor) or brown (capacitor).

Perhaps someone with the exact FC can confirm or best ask Diatone directly.

Hard to measure the capacitor when soldered on a pcb.

Thank you for reposting the picture! After reviewing other pictures I came to the conclusion that the chip is actually colored white. What kind of chip can that be? It’s a noticeable difference from the brown colored capacitors.

That component could be anything TBH. Being white it's more more likely to be a capacitor or an inductor then anything else but most SMD components are so small that there is no way for manufacturers to put any kind if identifier on them, so you often need the original circuit schematics of SMD circuits to know what type and value of components were used. I suggest you contact Diatone support and ask them what component / value that is. Most FC manufacturers seem happy to give out details of individual components. They just won't give you a full circuit schematic.

That is a capacitor. Try a 12pF 0201. That should work

Hi there I have a problem something similar to this

Can you help me identify these. I was trying to solder MPU6000 because it had a fault. While I was soldering it I lost one of those chips.
Please help me identify 1-4 parts
