Looking for a good whoop fc (flysky aio)
#1
Alright guys, scored a whoop frame with cam cover on top (might use it idk not sold) and 4 motors for 8 bucks free shipping. Ordered extra set of motors (65mm build)
Going to use plasti dip mod to make this super strong, and paint black, with the red included props.
I have an extra cam and vtx that will work, or I’ll get an aio camera and mount.
Looking for reccomendations on a fc, that’s flysky compatible. I’d also like to know the “best” camera I could use. I may get the cyclone3 aio with vtx, as latency on a whoop when recording, coupled with hd and mic could be nice.
Right now I think the beecore v2 with osd, though I know that drops battery life, I would want to not mess up my batteries.
Any thoughts guys, getting the fc in 2 weeks and should be a quick build up.

I have had very good results using these. Do not feel like the USB connector is placed well, but the FC itself has proven to be relaible and tough Smile

That’s what I’ve been leaning towards.
Next check I’ll get that, a few batteries, and I’ll have everything I need.
Have a 65 frame with 7x16 motors that came with it, will try those out but likely will upgrade to better motors.
Been flying my mantis inside and getting good at it, however a little indoor/ some outdoor whoop specific setup would be wonderful.
This hobby has its hold on my wallet hard guys, so much stuff I now need to get lol.

+1 for beecore v2. I am using one with flysky builtin and it is flying great, also on 7x16 motors.

I went with https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-TX01S-N...39788.html as the camera+ VTX solution for the ease of soldering the OSD inbetween. VTX gets a bit hot, but not really alarming. After some time I bought a second one to use as a spare or for another build, so definately can recommend it.

I can grab the dump if you want a quick, painless setup Wink
Find me on Youtube and Instagram. I currently fly: DRC Aura, NOX5R, Minimalist 112 and drive a scrap RC car

Gunna have to continue to read up, as I didn’t realie you’d have to solder osd into cam, though I assume it’s cam-fc-vtx? Which would make sense as the board Ian osd ready, right?

You don't have to do it, but since you have the osd on board, why not use it? In this case you can just cut the video wire and solder it to the marked pads on fc.

The BeeCore is a good FC but I went with the BetaFPV FC with no RX for mine and glad I did. I was using Flysky and had put a tiny RX in mine and then when I switched to Frsky I was able to just quickly change the RX without changing the entire FC. Just a thought.
I'd rather be flying!

Thats is relevant reason, but I think most of us stays with frsky/flysky etc for long timeSmile

Ill be switching to the frsky x lite at some point, likely not until the end of the year, but still like the flysky and wouldn’t mind bringing it when I’m whoopin.
That is a good point though and something to think about
