I'm curious, is there anything specific DJI warns about when buying any of their products that use lipos?

No, not really. So a lot of owners of consumer drones are usually blissfully unaware of any potential dangers posed by the batteries. That said, the DJI battery packs do have intelligence built into them to manage voltage and storage charging unlike our quad LiPos which are just dumb battery cells.

I live in a 200 yr old three decker home lol.

I keep my lipos in a lipo fire bag and an ammo box. I also have a small tin bucket with sand to toss in flaming lipos. Thats all you need really imo. Lipos are only dangerous when charging and discharging. As long as you dont do either unsupervised you should be fine.

My LiPos are now split and stored in 3 steel boxes, however I am now thinking of using a couple of large tool boxes filled with sand, so the LiPos would be in a sealed containers to keep the sand out which are buried in the sand spaced apart.
If a LiPo catches fire the container opens one way or another depending on what I use and the LiPo gets flooded with sand putting out the fire.
Quads--FPV-- Nice problems to have in life !
