It will be interesting to hear what you think of BF 4.2 compared to Emuflight. It's been raining heavily here as well for the last few days. It's nice today (although a tad windy) but typically I'm not going to have any spare time to get out and fly today.

Finally tested BF 4.2 with RPM filters, adjusted the filters and pid sliders a bit and it flies really nice. I did however get a mid air desync for a very short period of time but was able to continue the flight and it only happened on my 3rd pack out of all 5 so I am not sure if it was a one time thing or not..

I know that I have seen in one of JB or uavtechs videos that you can change the settings in blhelisuite in order to prevent desync but I can not find it now, does anyone know more about this?

You might be thinking of PWM frequency setting. Change from 24 to 48. Or motor timing. Change from auto or 16 to 22-23.

I am pretty sure I was refering to motor timing. I use Blheli_S ESC and I dont think I can change motor timing numbers? it only says motor timing = medium. Should I increase this value?

You can try high, it will not per se hurt the motor. If you get rid of the desync then great. If not, then it is something else.

A few Blackbox logs can help find the problem.

I did not have any blackbox on that flight so I cant post it.. Did change motor timing to medium-high and also increased idle to 5.5 and have not had any issues so far (fingers crossed)

Tested BF 4.2 with RPM filtering and I must say it is better with the "Race/Fast Freestyle" presets. changed to recommended slider position and it flies great.

Also got my refurbished hero 6 and the picture is so much better than the old hero 5.. I have an issue though, it seems to be skipping frames and the footage feels choppy. First I thought it was my computer but after uploading to youtube it seems to be an issue..

Does anyone have an idea why it is choppy? using Sandisk extreme U3 16gb memory card

That is super fast. Looks fun.

Maybe you are going to fast for the camera. Haha.

awesome man! Didn't notice any choppy video on 60fps. Did you have an extra audio source you muxed afterwards? The echo effect is kinda cool!
