Hey Guys,

Trying to do a build with Kombini rev01 FC and having all kinds of trouble. Original problem is I cant get any TX input
responce in the RX tab in betaflight. Furious says I have to flash the board with PIKOBLX which opened a whole new
can of worms. I have installed all the proper drivers and the zadig tool but I cant get the kombini into bootloader
mode to save my life.. supposedly its as easy as holding the bootloader button down while plugging into PC but
that does not work.. tried powering with batt also but nothing.. Anyone have any experience with these boards?

Maybe try the impulserc driver fixer, then try to flash the FC with proper firmware hex.

When you load into bootloader mode, what device populates in the Device Manager?

So I have been working on this, reading and watching videos.. here is what I have found so far...
When I plug the FC in normally I get a COM port in betaflight and in windows device manager..
When I hold the boot button and plug in I get no indication (light) on the board that I am in bootloader
but in betaflight I get no com and in windows device manager it shows as an unknown USB device..
So something is happening I just dont know what. I looked up the impulserc driver fixer and it says
it does not work for flashing firmware in bootloader mode.

Yes it will flash with out bootloader, will it connect to the fixer if you try?

If you are getting unknown device, you will first need to load a stm32 bootloader driver.

If everything works out, you should see STM32 bootloader when you load into bootloader. Once you have stm32 bootloader, you can then load the Zadig driver.


If you don't want to go through the trouble of loading the original stm32 bootloader windows driver, you can boot into bootloader mode, uninstall any driver associated with the unknown device. And hopefully Windows will automatically reload the correct stm32 bootloader driver.

I downloaded the driver but windows will not let me install it. Keeps saying the best driver
is already installed. I remove and plug back in but get the same message.

You probably have to manually install the stm32 bootloader driver. Windows is funny that way.

Did you this in zadig? What version of windows are you running?

YES! Finally! After days of working on this I have signal. I had to load the driver
manually in device manager, then I could flash the board and now I have signal!
This is my first build so now hopefully I can get everything set up properly..
