In Need Of Assistance
#1
I've been flying for a little while now, everythings worked perfect up until today. I have an Armattan rooster 6, with a crossfire, and a unify pro. After flying i brought my drone inside to turn the power up on my unify pro, something id never gotten around to doing. Got it up, exit betaflight and now my quad wont arm. I've tried re locking the unify and various other things to try and fix the problem. cli says rxloss is the issue but my crossfire has a steady running link. And the receiver tab in betaflight is completely unresponsive to any control inputs, all while crossfire has a running link. FC no longer has a blinking green light when powered, and only beeps once before the long beep during initial startup, as opposed to its usual two quick beeps followed by one long beep. I've tried flashing firmware through betaflight, i get an error stating no response from the bootloader, flash failed. AND the obvious one, but being relatively new i want to make sure none of the other factors were contributing to the problem as well, my radio (taranis qx7) will drop rx signal all together (displayed on radio), then just a second later it will come back full power. The physical crossfire device never turns off, and displays a running link the entire time which leads me to this confusion.

Does anyone have any advice?

You probably messed up your settings somehow. Can you tell me where you wired your RX (which UART). Also post your dump file.

Ive attached the dump file as well as a screenshot of my ports, also my radio problem previously mentioned has stopped, my OSD isn't working either, and i dont believe its an FC problem because i can still spin up the motors with the slider in betaflight.

I appreciate your help, thank you sir

So only your OSD is not working? You said your previous radio problem has stopped. Meaning it is fixed?

Anyways, your settings for OSD is correct. Are you getting video but not OSD? Try updating your fonts.

If completely no video, double check your wiring.

Also try switch from NTSC to Pal and vice versa.

no no, the radio problem as far as the radio feeling like its shorting working with the crossfire transmitter, previously the signal would be off and on constantly but stopped just this morning. My drone while connected to betaflight is still receiving no control inputs from my radio, even though CRSFR says its bound. As far as my OSD i get a stable video feed, the OSD is the only thing missing.

The best way i can explain my problem is i follow this video () then at the point when he can first see his inputs onscreen in betaflight, mine still dont work, no input is detected from my radio whatsoever. Even though my crossfire is powered and says the link is running, one thing i did notice though is when I power it up my crossfire immediately from 100mw tx power to 50 to 25 to 10 and stays there.

You never answered my question. What UART did you wire CRF receiver? We will get back to your OSD problem after the receiver problem is resolved.

I was able to resolve both problems, with your help i changed to the correct UART and now my controls are functioning as normal, as well as fiddled with my OSD and got it back as well.

I appreciate you help

That was easy. I had a feeling that your UART port was incorrect.
