I am fitting all my components into my new build. The hd-zero vtx is the 500mw and is in the back due to its 20x20 mounting and size. to keep things "clean" I will be mounting the Mamba f405 stack 180. I am going with crossfire, so I was looking at possibly mounting the nano rx between the bottom plates. I didnt like that so much and there is room behind the camera.. now Im looking at the antenna mounting, lots of choices that can be printed for the front or back. I found someone did a build where he "pressed fit" the mortal T antenna between the bottom plates. I tried to get mine to slide in, no luck... hence the "pressed" part. Im looking at advice on this, it looks perfect, clean, I was thinking of "shaving" a little off the "T" just to take a little pressure off the plates but still keep some on the antenna from moving....any suggestions are welcome... thanks the "t' of the antenna is 2.5mm the space between the plates is 2mm. im thinking of just shaving one side .25m to have pressure keeping it in place but not have as much pressure on the frame components ....

This is what I got so far..had to mount tbs stack 180 out to not cram the capacitor between the vtx.. it was some work.. but came out pretty clean in my book
Gotta say I’m looking forward to seeing what HD-zero has to offer..I also have my Walksnail vrx ordered.. I wil say.. since building and flying the 4” 250g rig.. I’m now looking at vtx sizes.. 5” flies like a truck (IMO), that 4” freestyle I threw together is like a Lotus Esprit Turbo..
That antenna mount design is popular among the AOS series frames. So I think it's all OK as the active elements of the antenna are still pretty far away from the CF arms. It's when the length or tips of the dipole are close to the CF frame that trouble can happen.
