It want charge a Lipo battery when Lipo Battery is selected unless the balance plug is connected but when i went into settings i turn off the balance connection and now it charge it with out the balance plug being pluged in when Lipo Battery is selected, then i stop it and select balance charge and the balance charge still work even though i selected to be off.

Charging with balancing ON is the safer way to charge your LIPO's.

Things can get scary if some cells charge faster than others and reach full capacity while other are still not at charge level and the charger keep pumping in current.

Unless your multi cell LIPO's have an internal balancing circuit you should probably use the balance charging method.
