Picked up a babytooth second hand. Has all the goodies to include a OG run cam nano with the round lens.. The VTX tables were not set up in betaflight and for the life of me I can’t identify the vtx! Any help is appreciated.
its bot worse to solder it on a quad, at least mine and my buddies didnt work as it should. overheat, interferences... unflyable. sadly as i would like such a small vtx on my whoops, nano32 is still my choice
please tell if we just had a bad batch, if it works for you.
as i remember, there was wrong vtx tables, we had to look for the right one some time in the internet. hope you getbthe right one.

We As advertised.. it gets hot fast.. apparently this came from fpv cycle with all the goodies..2mm motors, Betafpv 1s Aio, 1.5mm frame, OG runcam 3 w/round lens. Even the BT 2.0 connector .. so. It’s not surprising to see the nameless RC vtx with it..(though the soldering was questionable ..this fc has SMALL pads for even the best -just a observation) Bf was 4.2 with nothing changed.. had some “wobble” with hover (lots of rain/wind-I’m inside).. added a little tune, changed rates… seems better…IRC TRAMP has always been “weird”.. to include this …it wasn’t set up in betaflight .. seems like a update was done and left. I’m gonna take heed, not power it over 200.. this rig looks like it never went out.. I’m gonna make sure this one doesn’t end up in the tree across the street like the my other babytooth.. I’m thinking about sending this camera to ciotti and maybe taking this digital (hd-zero or ws)
Yeah, the magic of silicone insulation is that you can get the wire down to a little nub and never worry about burning or melting it. Makes for super safe and clean connections when sticking to pads. Guess I should be more careful about hurting feelings though. There's plenty of stuff I'm still no good at, like racing.
Silicone insulation is a wonderful thing. But if you don’t have silicone wire, you can slap some heat shrink tubing over the end and get the same result.
Dangerous operations.
Disclaimer: I don’t know wtf I’m talking about. I wish I could get the smell of burnt electronics out of my nose.

This is exactly why I tend to advise staying away from used quads that were home built or which have been messed with unless it's only for the parts. You just never know what kind of bodge job you will be getting.
That soldering is shocking. People should be embarrassed and ashamed to sell something in that state. Hopefully it was dirt cheap. If the quad isn't going to be broken for parts then the only sensible thing would be to redo all the wiring and solder joints properly.

It wasn’t DIRT cheap.. but for $50… hard to pass up. This is almost the exact build I have stuck in the tree across the street.. so it was also kinda sentimental… now that my flying skills have improved, maybe I can appreciate this little ripper.
