Hey Tina Drone wont Take Off
#1
Purchased the FlightOne version and did not realize until I opened it way later to configure.  I am now in ELRS so I soldered in the EP2 RX and all is working.

But this drone has never really been able to take off.  All the motors seem to work in which I reflashed the ESC using the BLHeli configurator software.  This drone is the hovertype so I made sure the props are on REVERSE.

I was able to get a CLI dump off reddit for the Hey Tina which I copied over and reconfiugred to match my RadioMaster TX12 settings. Settings in BetaFlight all look good but I just can't get the drone to take off.

I also noticed the throttle is super sensitive and after research, I may have what is known as runaway throttle.

Here is a video of the way it acts.  I have Nanohawk X that I just converted to ELRS and it is functional so my system seems to be working.

Not sure if one of my ESC maybe faulty or my props are installed wrong but I feel like I triple checked all that...

the quad drifts on yaw, that shouldnt be, somthing might be wrong:
-board orientation
-motor spin direction
-rotor direction
-motor order

you might need to walk again trough the falcox settup and double check thisway, there isnt a configuration fault.

"pusher"-quad is the usual name for what you called "hoovertype"

falcox was the first generation, after it got issues as example with turtlemode, the tina whoop was sold with betaflight. betaflight could be an option too, there would be presettings available.

Thank you for the reply and correct terminology. I read up a bit on the Falcox issues.
I actually flashed it with Betaflight which allowed me to get this far.
I'll continue troubleshooting with those factors in mind.

The motors are upside down right? I wanted to see that back left motor (from video perspective) but it didn't show once the entire video. Are you sure you have all the props on correctly? The motor mapping might be amiss but that often makes the quad flip out, but surely not in all situations.

The way your drone is acting though it's almost like you have a propeller on backward, or one motor is spinning the wrong way. take the propellers off and make sure each motor is spinning in the correct direction. If I were to guess that's what I would guess. A motor is spinning the wrong way, which is an easy fix.
