HELP WITH BIND AND BOOTLOADER SCISKY F3
#1
Hello Everyone and thank you for taking time to view my question.

i just got the oversky scisky micro flight controller with an inbuilt receiver. however, I am having difficulty binding with my fs-i6x transmitter. i held the button before plugging in power, turned on the transmitter in bind mode, and still no response. also tried to put in the boot loader but there seems to be only one boot pin. newbie here so any help would be much appreciated.

Edit: I use cleanflight and was wondering what the receiver config would typically be. i had it on sbus but I am beginning to think it should be one of the RX selections instead.
Thanks Again!

It seems the RX on that FC is compatible with FlySky AFHDS protocol.

Did you set your Transmitter to AFHDS in the Receiver settings?

Check the manual at page 24 (RX setup): https://files.banggood.com/2016/09/FS-i6...manual.pdf

Did you hold the bind button and power on the Radio to put it in Bind mode?

Did you change any settings on the FC?

It seems the FlySky receiver is setup on the FC in PPM mode and you do not need to turn on Serial RX on Uart 2 as per the manual (towards the end of page 4 and page 5): https://www.overskyrc.com/fillib/F3FCfir...gGuide.pdf

Someone also posted a comment on this video mentioning: "Make sure no settings are made on URT2, dont enable Serial RX. Set Receiver to "PPM RX Input". Ensure transmitter is set to AFHDS and enter bind mode. Restart scisky and wait around 30 seconds. Transmitter will not show that its bound as the receiver does not transmit any telemetry. Restart transmitter and the red light on the receiver will be solid."
