Help! Can I test ESC
#1
So I did this to my flight controller and I'm just wondering if there is a way to test the 4 in 1 esc to make sure it is still good.  Apparently when I soldered on the receiver wires I shorted something out and had flames.  I don't even know if the receiver is still good.  Beginner woes Sad

if it doesnt smell about smoke... i guess it should be fine. you can plug in the battery to the esc without an fc, hear the first beeps from the esc as a first test...
same with the receiver... there is no simple sort of testing, another fc are needed to try them

Thats kind of what i thought after searching the net, but i was hoping.  Is there  any worries of frying my new fc when it comes if the esc or receiver are bad?
