0 Hey guys so I'm falling down the rabbit hole and now I want a 3d printer. The geeetech a10m is on-sale and its got duel extruders which sounds great, I like the idea of being able to print with 2 materials or even the wash away substructure stuff. But it seems there's a lot more support and stuff out there as far as the creality ender 3 goes. Should I stick with that or get the duel extruder set up?
Also I noticed the owner of the site into3dp is here, if you could messege me im having a issue of being flagged as possible spambot while trying to register for the site.
Thanks

786 Unless you are dead set on a dual filament printer (which can have their own set of challenges and frustrations), you are probably better off going for an Ender 3 which has a ton of community support if you run into issues or need help. I don't hear of many people using the Geetech A10M. Every man and his dog seem to be using the Ender 3.

388 01-Dec-2020, 05:16 PM (This post was last modified: 01-Dec-2020, 05:17 PM by voodoo614.) 3D printer is nice. I finally broke down and got one. I have used it for many other things then just quads. For example, I needed to perfectly centered a square flat plate on some square tubing. Went into Fusion 360, designed a jig, and printed it out.
As for dual filament, I don't seem to need it. I probably stick to single filament too.
