0 Anybody familiar enough with BetaFlight or OpenTX to know how to hardcode a failsafe position? I understand that once enough satellites are recognized by the flight controller that the position is set upon arming, but I'm curious whether or not there's a means to set a secondary (failsafe failsafe) value.

789 01-Nov-2023, 06:21 PM (This post was last modified: 01-Nov-2023, 06:25 PM by SnowLeopardFPV. Edit Reason: Amended some info. ) I assume you mean the setting (storing/memorising) of the GPS home position by Betaflight.
Betafight will store the GPS home position when the quad is armed. The only way to change the home position value is to land the quad somewhere else, then disarm and re-arm the quad. The home position will then be change to the new current position of the quad, unless you have switched on the "Set Home Point Once" option. If that option is switched on the GPS home position won't change if you disarm and re-arm the quad unless you first power off the FC and power it back on again (unplug and re-plug the LiPo).
There is no other way to change the stored GPS home position in Betaflight.

789 Yeah, unfortunately you're not going to be able to do that using Betaflight.
You might want to look into ArduPilot firmware which is much more advanced for autonomous flight and waypoint missions. I don't personally have any experience with ArduPilot so I can't really help you with that, but just pointing you in a direction that may provide a possible solution for what you are trying to do.
