Good HDO Foam Other Than NewBeeDrone?
#1
While I really like the fit, I'm about to throw out my second NBD foam because it's breaking apart.  What's a good HDO faceplate foam especially for light leaks at the nose bridge area?  The stock foam lets in tons of light at the nose bridge for me.

Although not made for FS, it works. And thick cushions seals well. But I guess mileage will vary depending on your face morphology. It come with velcro, so changing new foam is very quick. Even though mine is still doing fine.

URUAV also do a material covered sponge for the FatShark faceplates in 4 different colours.

Have you tried them Snow? I had always had my eye on them since the nose bridge area looks pretty beefy.

No, I didn't try those URUAV ones. I tried some different aftermarket pleather ones which weren't branded from a Chinese vendor that shall remain nameless. Those ones I bought look similar on the nose area to the URUAV ones ones but I have a narrow face and the padding on the sides was too shallow and didn't seal against my face so created a huge amount of light leak. I ended up stitching up the ripped original FatShark pleather ones (which have deeper side sections) and putting them back on.
