As you might know Frsky has taken down all old firmware for their receivers and modules, prior to ACCST 2.0. Fortunately, someone made a backup https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lm8Icg...p3MSVdnaWp Posts: 21,151 Threads: 580 Likes Received: 8,912 in 6,592 posts Likes Given: 1,425 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 786 I think we all had the same idea I also have all the historic firmwares but only on my local drive. I notice you are missing the pre-2.x.x ACCST firmware for the XJT Lite module. Dave managed to scrounge this from FrSky a few days ago so you may want to take a copy and put it on your Goggle Drive along with the others. See the following post. The firmware file is at the bottom of the list on Dave's website... https://intofpv.com/t-beware-frsky-accst...8#pid93568 Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 We should make Dave resource a Sticky somewhere. • Posts: 1,197 Threads: 59 Likes Received: 592 in 395 posts Likes Given: 210 Joined: Mar 2019 Reputation: 42 Happy to provide others with copies if they want to host it up also. I will organise mine a little more in the near future, putting them in dropdown folders (unless you guys think they are good how they are?). I can only fly Trashcan using an external multiprotocol module. After reading the posts on Oscar's web page I understood that the cause of the bind problem is that I have updated the internal XJT firmware to versions 2.0.0 and above. In this case, I also understood that I can revert to the older version without changing the latest version of Open-Tx installed, correct? If so, should I change or worry about the Companion and Betaflight Configurator versions? I currently have Companion 2.3.7, BF 10.4.0 and Trashcan FC firmware 4.0.4. Thank you very much for your help • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 Yes, you can downgrade the IXJT without changing OpenTX. • Posts: 30 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 3 in 3 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Sep 2019 Reputation: 0 (04-Jun-2020, 08:51 AM)voodoo614 Wrote: Yes, you can downgrade the IXJT without changing OpenTX. Thank you for answering! In the case of the Companion, Betaflight Configurator and FC firmware versions, is any change necessary? To update XJT through Companion should I go back to version 2.2.2 or can I get it with 2.3.7? You don't update the internal XJT module through OpenTX Companion. You just stick the ".frk" firmware file in the \FIRMWARE" folder on the SD Card and then select to flash that firmware file to the internal module from the transmitter itself. Click HERE to download the latest pre-2.x.x ACCST firmware for the XJT module. The ZIP file contains the ".frk" file you need. You don't need to change any other firmware on the transmitter or the flight controller. Just make sure your receiver is also flashed to pre-2.x.x ACCST firmware and you are all done. Am I missing something? You're not missing anything, but when FrSky remove any of the versions that Oscar has a copy of (which they will do eventually), you will still be able to get them from Oscar's Google Drive. Are you after an older version of the firmware that Oscar doesn't have listed? I have most of the older firmwares for most of the receivers commonly used on quads, so if you do then let me know and I can make it available. • Posts: 30 Threads: 1 Likes Received: 3 in 3 posts Likes Given: 1 Joined: Sep 2019 Reputation: 0 In the case of my Taranis I installed the old firmware (170317) of the iXJT, but it did not solve the problem. I don't know what else to try to connect my Trashcan to my radio again. I'm thinking that maybe the iXJT or the antenna is damaged. Any help will be appreciated. I'm trying with someone around here to find another receiver or quad for testing. If I can't find it I'm thinking of buying an XM +, but then I would have to replace the existing receiver on the flight controller. Would that be a good idea? • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 I can remember if the Trashcan have a SPI or separate receiver? • |
