Alright guys. Those of you that watch my videos know I fly at the same spot all the time. As much as I'd like to say this is for discipline and training (which does help quite a lot), it's really just cos I'm super lazy lol. So my 2020 FPV New Year resolution is going to be to fly at a new spot. Not a new spot once a week or even once a month. Just some time in this year I will fly a new spot LOL. Hey, baby steps!! Time to commit people lol. What's your FPV resolution???? • Posts: 265 Threads: 24 Likes Received: 85 in 61 posts Likes Given: 11 Joined: Aug 2019 Reputation: 3 -Tune my quad and get rid of the God d**m wobbles. -Build at least another quad. -Save at least half of the money for a Fatshark HDO2 goggles or superior goggles. I'm going to the second weekend in a row I'm pretty much used to fly solo and that's fine, but with such a small community around here (I only know 3 more FPV'ers) getting to spend time with them it's so good. Also getting decent HD footage would be great. • Posts: 1,402 Threads: 121 Likes Received: 1,424 in 739 posts Likes Given: 1,114 Joined: Jun 2019 Reputation: 42 Great thread! my FPV resolution is to build a 9 inch quad. lolz... • Posts: 265 Threads: 24 Likes Received: 85 in 61 posts Likes Given: 11 Joined: Aug 2019 Reputation: 3 (06-Jan-2020, 10:26 PM)Krohsis Wrote: I'm buying enough parts that when companies quit building parts due to the new regs and falling sales, I will still be flyin'....Bootleg flying maybe, but still smilin' and tearing it up! I'm literally alone in here; i also bought a spare of goggles to make people know how it looks like and try to put interest on them for the hobby, but sadly, no one has converted yet. Embrace your 3 FPV friends! (07-Jan-2020, 12:32 PM)ph2t Wrote: Great thread! my FPV resolution is to build a 9 inch quad. lolz... What is the intention of that size? Long range or fumigation? • Posts: 438 Threads: 53 Likes Received: 378 in 189 posts Likes Given: 223 Joined: Jul 2018 Reputation: 18 I would like to try practice a bit more for racing and then attend a few races and end up better than in last 5. It's more likely not gonna happen, but that's what new year resolutions are for, right • |
