For Analog video: HBO2, Orqa Fpv.1 or dji...

Ditto that on the HDO2’s. Have the rapid fire mod and the lumenier large patch and really long axii2 Omni. I’ve said it before, it’ll fly further than most people would be willing to walk. I really enjoy them. They are very light. With a newbie drone foam in place much more comfortable and zero light leakage. You can comfortably use them for hrs. The only problem I’ve had is the power plug from the 18650 battery case. It failed after only 6months.

Of course DJI with analog mod.

Same question for me....

I finally decided for DJI with analog mod....

...then I tried digital...

...then I didn't buy any mod!  Big Grin

The OP intends to do racing in the future. Will the DJI HD system storm on the other Analog FPV racers channels even when used with an analog receiver? Just curious.

You need to choose what route you are ultimately going to take. If you have no real plans to use any of the DJI digital gear in freestyle or cruising quads then I see no point i getting the DJI goggles. You will have a better analogue experience with proper analogue goggles. So if you are going to be predominantly racing then analogue goggles are your better option and you can always fit Shark Byte later if you want a digital experience in race quads.

Only you can really decide but I personally wouldn't buy the DJI goggles if you are focusing more on analogue and racing.

I'm not sure about that but consider that, when used with analog adaptor, DJI goggles works in a mode called "AV-IN", it's just a viewer and reception occurs only through the connected analog module. Consequently, if no digital source is present (Vista or Air-Unit), nothing bad should happen.

On the other hand, I don't know how it behaves in terms of latency...

Latency when using an analogue module in the DJI FPV Goggles is better than it was when the goggles were first released but it's still higher than on a pure set of analogue goggles. So for out and out racing, native analogue goggles are still the best option.

Yes, as I supposed...

However, if the signal is received by a common analogue VRX module and transmitted... let me say... to nothing more than a screen, which si the source of the additional latency ?

That's obviously not the case. If it was, then how were DJI able to fix the apalling analogue latency that existed when the DJI FPV Goggles were first released just with updated firmware? The analogue video signal is clearly going through some kind of image processing circuitry inside the goggles first before it reaches the screens, and that will all increase the latency.
