So how are you fellow northern hemispherians flying in the cold? Ive been getting terrible flight times and sag when out flying even with warm lipos. Less than 2min with a 3in and 850mah 4s lipos, sag gets so bad crashing is unavoidable.

I tried making a thermally 'insulated' case using some aluminum sheet, electrical tape and thermal radiating tape that doesn't seem to help much. Pics are of a similar casing but for a 1500mah lipo

I can't answer your question, because where I live is not that cold.

When flying, I just put a few packs in my pockets, getting ready for the next flights mind you it's only 5-10"C here so not that bad.

I dump mine in a bag of rice (uncooked)

14F isnt too bad.. im used with it.. Chicago is different story.
