FIX: FrSky & Jumper TX Joystick Connectivity Issue for Simulators Under Windows 10
#16
(29-Sep-2019, 08:55 AM)DSMagic Wrote: Thank you, this is progress but I'm not out of the woods yet. This only partially worked. Now simulator thinks I'm moving the joysticks like a madman even when I'm not touching them. Even when I play with the settings, there's something happening that's out of control.

What simulator are you using?

I haven't been on a sim for a while but just fired them up to find I too had the libusb-win32 driver issue. I manually updated the driver for my Taranis X9D+ to be a USB Input Device and everything is working fine in both VelociDrone and Liftoff.

Did you try rebooting your machine?

Have you properly bound and get a solid green light on the XSR-Sim?  What trouble are you having?

The first things to try before doing anything else:-
  1. Reboot your computer.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the simulator. If it's a sim on the Steam platform then uninstall/reinstall both the Steam framework and the simulator game.

Having the issue first mentioned. Except I can't click on the driver roll back button, it's greyed out. My Taranis in not showing up under devices, but it is under Unspecified. All this to help my brother....

Deal
Here's the Deal

10" 6S FR10-G Long Range, 5" 6S Rooster, 5" 6S Badger, 5" 6S QAV-S, 5" 4S Badger, 5" 4S Phreakstyle Slam, 5" 6S Yema, 5" 4S Stark, 3" 4S Gecko, and a 3S 2.5" Tadpole, all of which are Crossfire.  Tinyhawk, Tinyhawk S, and a DJI Spark.  And projects on the bench....

Yes, you need to do "Update Driver" instead. Just follow the guide below Smile

See the following video for how to fix the issue. This fix is for any of the simulators, not just VelociDrone. If the "Roll Back Driver" button is greyed out then see the following alternative solution for that...

And for those who prefer to read text than watch a video, the Liftoff Team have produced a PDF document detailing the same fix HERE.

2024 Hi everyone ?? I'm having trouble connecting my Jumper T18 equipment to my PC. Windows doesn't recognize it as a joystick, and I'd say it doesn't see it at all. When I connect it, the device asks to choose between joystick or storage mode. I select joystick, and nothing happens.
Libusb doesn't show up anywhere:
  • Not in Device Manager
  • Not in "My Computer"
  • Not in "Advanced Device Settings"
The methods I found so far didn't help (assuming I did everything correctly), but I don't even see the necessary icons.
I downloaded the Libusb driver from GitHub, but I'm not sure what to do next.
I also downloaded the libusb-win32 filter, but the equipment doesn't show up there either.
Please help me, this is my first piece of equipment ??‍?
