fc not recognized by pc
#1
Hi  guys, I bought an iflight titan xl5 recently, before updating the firmware I made the backup, then i installed the 4.2.11 and finally i did the restore by selecting the backup i had done previously; from that moment i can no longer connect the quad to betaflight because windows does not recognize the device.
Now when i connect the FC to the PC only a solid red LED lights up while when it was recognized it flashed; if i connect the lipo to the quad, only the first 3 beeps are heard and the LED remains solid red. i reinstalled all betaflight recommended drivers but it didn't help.
Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem? do i have to buy a new fc?? Thank you

I assume that you've tried a different USB cable? You also need to make sure that you are using a data cable and not a charge-only cable.

If you hold down the boot button on the FC while plugging in a USB cable, is your FC then detected by Windows in DFU mode?

yes I have already tried with other cables and usb ports, even if I hold down the boot key, nothing changes.

Recently, it seems as though My FCs weren’t being “read” by my computer.. I had other FCs / cables work just fine… discovered I had to manipulate (put pressure) on the usb). Apparently the installation of these female usb (b and c) are not installed well on some. Come to think of it I remember a omnibus whoop whoop f4 fc I had and read about there the USB’s were just coming off..
Once u have exhausted all avenues, try LIGHTLY, adding pressure to the usb
