#16
There are photos of the goggles on Rotor Riot website. No mention of DVR.

$350 not to bad. Although adding Rapidfire will be $500 which is the same as the SkyO4x. From the tests, the skyzone receiver seems to be on par with the rapidfire so probably sticking with the skyzones. Plus OLED and other features on the skyzones.

I'd be really surprised if the Attitude V6 goggles don't come with a DVR. The V5 and prior Attitude goggles did.

It also looks like the original leaked price was wrong. It's $349 instead of $429, so that's a much more competitive price. Maybe FatShark changed their pricing after the Eachine EV300O and Skyzone SKY04X googles got released, or maybe the leaked price was just wrong in the first place.

Pictures now also stolen from the RR website and added to the first post Big Grin

Although JB was testing the SB, did you notice his goggles?

Yes. Where do you think some of the information in post #1 originally came from Big Grin

No indication of release date. But given that vendors are taking pre-orders, like before the end of the year.

Here you go. Specs straight from the horse's mouth. So the FatShark Attitude V6 goggles do have a built-in DVR.

I really like how Fatshark has included the faceplate foam inserts. One of the main reason why I got the HDO2s were b/c of this feature, since my face is wider. The HDO2 did not fit with the inserts in, but with both removed, fit perfectly. $350 is an OK price I guess, but these are LCOS displays, which I believe were similar to the EV200D. At this point, just the the Skyzones. I certainly would not spend my $$$ personally on this b/c the HDO2s are just so good. Also, the focus adjustment is a MUST for me, since I am around -2.7 in the left eye, so rather than get the Optikfischer inserts for $50, I'll stick to my focus adjustments. This is a feature absent from the Attitude V6 goggles, which I can definitely see, given the $350 price point. Overall, I think the Attitude V6s are going to be just another goggle in the mid-range war.

One more thing...The V6 looks the same...Fatshark, maybe you guys could make a cooler looking shell or something? Pretty please? Or a scroll wheel? Or a built-in battery? Anyways, I won't complain, Fatshark makes a good product and we always know what we're going to get, the same form factor, which makes things consistent. Smile

350$ is really a good price to be a competitive in the market. This is just a small brother of HDO2. The main difference is screen panels. To be honest, HDO2 + Rapidfire cost something around 649$ that is twice as expensive as Attitude V6. OLED screens are better, but it is not worth extra 300$. Also it comes with a built in module. Skyzone also comes with a built in receiver called Rapidmix and it performs really good.

IMO HDO + RapidFire was 100% worth every penny. Maybe that's because I was coming from the Eachine VR006 and Aomway Commanders...

Another thing to remember with the Attitude V6's is that you are getting a diversity receiver thrown in for your $350. Granted it's not a "fusion" type module like the RapidFIRE, but it must be worth ~$50. You get no modules at all with the HDO2's, So taking that into account, Attitude V6's (goggles only) = $300 and HDO2's (goggles only) = $500. Both have 1280x960 screens and other than the FOV, the rest of the features on both the Attitude V6 and HDO2 are identical. So you are paying $200 just to have OLED screens and 7 degrees more FOV over the LCOS screens. You have to then question if that is really worth paying an extra $200 for.

True, you can pretty much get 2 Attitude V6s for one HDO2 setup /w Rapidfire + Lumenier Axii not to mention Powerplay, custom headstrap, goggle foam, etc.
