42 Hey all, has anyone had any experience with the dynamic idle feature? I just came across this vid from joe lucid.
I’ve found with the whoop and toothpick it’s hard to come down to earth quickly on zero throttle. I’m in air mode. The floating sensation affects this size quad and I was wondering if this dynamic idle feature may help. Joe alludes to that in the video’s comments.

103 intressting question, i have no answer.
allready no one did reply, i bring another theme which seems to be near, or i beleive xD
probably this depends on the weight aswell, as more lightweight a quad is, as more agressive pitch-work it needs to hold flow in flight. my experience is it need more throttle all the time, because of the fast decreasement of speed and this need more work on the pitch. there is „inertia force“ missed, in general and aswell in gravity to come down. not sure if the word „inertia force“ describe this well, a heavy freestyle rig has what i mean with „inertia force“. the benefit of a low weight quad is fast speed decreasing or fast accrelation - over all nimbleness. probably dynamic idle can improve the handling about this a bit?
what could be a try, if you add more angle to the cam, it makes holding more throttle automaticly, would give an answer about throttlework as reason.
