DRL has recently released their new sim 3.0 with improved physics. It is said to be more realistic and I will try this out as soon as i get home from work today

probably not  I think you are better off in another simulator.. wasn´t super impressed, but im used to Liftoff so I guess I have to give it some time before i can judge..

Is it on a free trial (I've not checked) or did you buy a license?

I already paid for VelociDrone and LiftOff licenses so unless it offers something fantastically different or a free trial before parting with any cash, then I probably won't bother looking at it.

I know that JB endorses DRL along with LiftOff, but then he dismisses VelociDrone which pretty much everyone else says is still the leading sim for most realistic flying physics.

You have to purchase it (cost 17 Euro i believe) but like everything on steam you can try it out and then refund within 14 days and if you haven't played for more than 2 hours.

I have refunded lots of games that I dont like or that is too demanding for my computer.

Ah, OK. I didn't realise that. Thanks for the info I guess sometimes it does pay to actually read the small print  

I'm not a gamer so I'm not that familiar with the Steam platform. The only reason I have Steam installed on my PC at the moment is purely so I can run LiftOff.
