0 Considering my first drone and leaning towards a 3" BND with DJI FPV. Colder weather is coming and I am wondering how many have flown the DJI FPV system from their car? What should I expect and any tips?
Thanks for helping.

789 I don't have the DJI system but people have successfully flown DJI camera drones from inside the car, and they use similar RC and video link technology to the DJI FPV System.
If no-one else comes back with an answer then I suggest you go somewhere isolated before the winter weather comes along and do a few test runs to see how it performs. There might be a bit of signal loss through the glass window but you will find out how much when you do the test.

12 I've tried it out of curiosity.
It will hurt your range. Not as much pixaling as I'd expected just park flying in closer proximities but your range is impacted quite a bit if you try to push it.
This was in a Toyota mr2 with T-top's, it's pretty much all glass overhead and all around. A regular car with metal roof might be different, better or worse I don't know.
