0 Ok so I’m finally going to buy a set of DJI goggles and jump into the digital world. I’m a little confused on how I could run the dji goggles and air unit with a TBS Tango 2. I’ve seen it done before and would love to save some money (not have to buy the dji controller) but doesn’t the air unit act as a camera, transmitter and reviver? How would I wire and run a tbs reviver instead? Sorry this may be super obvious but it’s confusing me a bit right now.
Thanks for the help!

797 You don't have to use the receiver part of the DJI Air Unit. You can just use the Air Unit for video transmission and use the Tango 2 and a Crossfire receiver for the RC link.

0 I have 5 dji quad, all with Crossfire. Just Cut the Sbus and Gnd wire on the DJI cable and solder your own receiver.

797 If you get a DJI Air Unit and there is a harness between it and the FC then don't physically cut the wires from the harness. Just de-pin them from the plugs. That will then give you the option of putting them back if you ever want or need to without having to splice them back together. The Caddx Vista has solder connections on it so would require de-soldering at the Vista end, and de-pinning or de-soldering at the FC end.
