Man, that sucks. Theses DJI FPV Goggle purchases seem to be jinxed. izzy26 on here also had an issue with his brand new ones out of the box (I forget what the problem was now). He had to send them back to the vendor who I believe then sent them back to DJI for repair. He then got them back about 6 weeks later.

I would contact the vendor ASAP.

I bought them on Amazon for a reason. I already got the restitution label and refund by Amazon in 48 hours.
Fuck this ... i'm not even sure i want to buy them again or just giveup.

I guess it's no real consolation but at least you got a full refund immediately without any questions asked and without having to go through that pain of waiting for a repair. I would just re-order TBH. You would have to be really unlucky to get another faulty pair.

Just sent the googles back to the seller via DHL (it was a third party on Amazon)... i will keep the forum updated how this will end. Smile
P.S: DJI support has not even replied to my request of support, not for the moment at least.

A friend of mine made a support ticket online, attached a copy of the receipt because they were only a month old. He mailed them to dji and they fixed it at no cost and mailed them back to him.

Hi there
Update:
i sent the googles back with DHL to the seller (oh by the way, i will not USE anyone else but DHL, they are insanely good)
I 've already bought and received a pair of WORKING googles finally from a local store in Italy.
The seller from Amazon has not refund me yet, but i'm quite relaxed since Amazon will cover the refund anyway.
DJI answered to my mail of support request after 72 Hours!! saying to send back them the product for replacement.

It's always better to get a complete replacement product if you have the option. A customer should not have to go through the hassle of having to get a brand new defective product sent back to the manufacturer for repair and then have to wait around for that to happen. That is not what you paid your money for. Another brand new replacement of the same product should just be sent out immediately. So getting a refund and then buying a brand new set from elsewhere was definitely the best option here.

Ye, fortunately i bought them on Amazon. Although i had to claim the A-Z guarantee to get refund... Amazon refunded me today. Thanks for your support guys.

Sorry, I haven't been around for a while. Yeah I had an issue with my brand new goggles - the fan was rattling, big time. And as I was moving and shaking the goggles around, it was rattling more or less. Something was probably loose inside. I returned it to the vendor I purchased it from (a local shop), they sent it to a local distributor for a warranty claim. 4 or 5 weeks later, I got a brand new unit, this time working well. Still working to this day (knock knock).

Anyways, glad you got your problem sorted out and hopefully are enjoying the digital goodness Smile
