How many channels should be available after implementing the 1200mw hack?  My goggles have 700mw, 1000mw and 1200mw choices but I only have 4 channels.  Is that correct or should I have 8?

Do you have it set to 50Mbps? In 50Mbps mode you can only use channels 1, 2, and 3. In 25Mbps mode you'll have access to all 8 channels.

Any time you are experiencing missing channels or not the full 50Mbps after applying a firmware update or one of the hacks, do a factory reset of the goggles.

I think you nailed it V-22. I am 50Mpbs. I have channels 1, 2, 3, and 8. Currently flying on 2.

I like to use channel 3 for 50Mbps, as it has less chance of interfering with 5.8GHz WiFi. Note that even though channel 8 shows up in 50Mbps mode, it will only broadcast at 25Mbps.
