Diatone Roma LR 4
#1
I see the Flywoo Explorer is very popular here. I've searched, and can't find much here about the Diatone Roma LR, 4", analog.

I've watched about every review on the long range 4 inch quads, and some I'm not fond of, explained, next.

It checks all the boxes for me. Deadcat, replaceable arms, decent electronics. I really like the aluminum camera cage, and it looks like the camera angle has a lot of adjustment. It can do either 20x20, or whoop board. The Diatone doesn't seem all cluttered with cheesy looking TPU.

Has the 'tune' been figured out? I know the GPS is an issue, but seems all of the LR quads are. No beeper, no big deal, I can install one.

I was pretty much sold on the Explorer, but the 16x16 only and Goku brand is making me wonder.

Does anyone know if a Caddx Tarsier V2 would fit the Roma?

Any opinions are welcome Smile

I have built several 4" LR frames and have put the Tarsier in a couple of them. The Roma has a lot more room than most of the 4" builds I have done and I know you can fit the tarsier in that frame.

Thank you, I think you have just helped me make a solid decision.

I was watching more reviews on it tonight, and I was -this- close to ordering it. Now that I'm sure the Tarsier will fit, I'm pretty sure tomorrow I will jump on it!! It's even --in stock-- Smile

I have the Caddx Vista in my build but here is Ronin's post of the analog version of this frame. He does a good job of comparing it to other 4" long range frames that he has built as well. He also starts out with a Tarsier but eventually goes with a Runcam split. Good thread to help with placement of components.
