I think that for about a month I tried everything in betaflight. 3 packs every day, going back to defaults and starting over again 100+ times 
Hardware seems good. I even zip-tied every tiny wire, so that thy're not banging arround the frame/FC... 

Anything above 1300 throttle and the D term on Pitch is just vibing on its own

One setting that cost me over a month of frustration: "Motor Timing" in BLHeli_32.

I set it to 16deg at the beginning, as it was commonly recommended - to not leave it on "auto" and let stupid machine to take over this (well... apparently I was more stupid than the machine)

Since it's my first quad, my understanding was that the "motor timming" setting is specifically related to desync issues and since I've never experienced these I thought it's good where it is and I've never looked back at this again. What a mistake!

These motors don't run smooth on 16deg at all (as shown in videos above). With just a few experiments I ended up at 24deg but there's definitelly more to play around.

Not to hijack, but has the tune of the Roma F4 been 'corrected', or do I have to do that when I get it? (It'll be here Sunday!)
