I'm not really sure how they compare or how much their size effects flying.
The title of your post says "Decent" freestyle camera. Well, most of the cameras that are being used in FPV are decent. If you want the current best HD cam being used in FPV right now, that would be the Hero7 Black. It's just the best, and with Hypersmooth, it makes the average pilot look like a pro. But the Hero7 Black comes at a premium price. Also, HD cams take a beating in a crash, but the Hero7 Black really doesn't do well when crashed. It is particularly fragile when compared to other options out there.
For the average person a RunCam 3s, Foxeer Box 2, Session 4 (also known as simply Session) or the Session 5 will all give good results and leave some cash in your pocket for other stuff. And they will fair better in a crash than the Hero7 Black. And if you are truly flying freestyle, crashing isn't likely, it is inevitable.
Like VooDoo mentions, the Session varieties are not being made anymore. And because of demand for the Session 5, a new one is selling for 2-5 times the original price. You can get refurbished ones for close to what a new one used to cost, if you are ok with taking a risk on a refurbished one. You can get Session 4s for less than a Foxeer Box 2 or a RunCam 3s even as new. And the Session 4 is a noticeably better cam than either the Foxeer or the RunCam.
Also, you can't replace the battery in the Session varieties unless you de-box them, which is pretty intrusive to the cam and ripe for messing it up. So after a few hundred flights with it, it will need a new battery. So you have that to look forward to if you get a Session.
You can also look at other cams like the Poloroid Cube box cam and the Hawkeye Firefly. I wouldn't put them in the category of decent though, perhaps they would be called adequate.
