Hey yall,
Been running into a super annoying problem, first flight with a new build about a month ago (build details below) randomly started spinning mid air and fell to its death. Luckily I was recording the camera feed but not blackbox, heres the video of what happened: . This happened maybe 400m away, nothing crazy.
I had something similar happen to me in a park after replacing the battery, FC, and VTX. My immortal T is mounted with the antennas pointed straight out left and right from the front of the quad and the TBS external module on my t12pro transmitter has the T antennas horizontal left and right. I blamed this random flip on the quad positioning, as i was only maybe 10 meters from the quad but the antennas on the quad and my transmitter were both parallel and I had a visible RXLOSS indication.
This is where it gets weird...
Heres the video of what happened:
And heres the blackbox data:
Ive been turning my head over to try to figure out what has been causing this because in the last flip, it was just out of nowhere and according to the blackbox data, all four motors started throttling up before anything else went wonky. The position of my quad this flip was similar to the second: antennas parallel but maybe 10 meters away from me. What's odd is that in the video, you can see the quad go crazy suddenly and THEN the RXLOSS comes... I have been stumped on this problem now for weeks. Heres a screencap of the blackbox data for that third death flip flight, the dll is attached to this post.
A couple things/consistencies noteworthy:
mamba f405 mk2 fc+esc
iflight 1800kv 2207 motors
1200mah 6s
TBS unify pro32 nano VTX
first flight: RSXR, second and third flips: TBS nano rx
Any help would be appreciated a ton, looking forward to hearing from anyone that has run into similar problems!

A couple things/consistencies noteworthy:
- I ruled out the flight controller and VTX because they both were replaced from the first death flip from very high up.
- The receiver cant be the issue because the first flip was with a RSXR and the second two were with a TBS nano rx with an external module for my Jumper T12pro
- I ruled out the ESC being bad because the first flip was to the right and the third was to the left, as you can see in the video
