I have the old original X9D plus, not the 2019 version. It’s up to date with the latest firmware but I just want to check that this module will work with the Taranis?
I’ve watched some videos on YouTube how to install it using the Lua scripts. Just wanting to check that it’s possible. Wanting to use crossfire but I want to keep my original transmitter because I still love it and have loads of models on it. Cheers

388 The X9D and even the 2019 version are compatible with Crossfire without any modification. The latest OpenTX should have the Crossfire Lua preloaded. You don't have to copy it onto your SD card anymore.

Edit Reason: Typo corrections. ) I run exactly the setup you have (Crossfire Micro TX on an X9D+ ACCST) and there are no issues whatsoever. No modding required, nothing. It just works out-of-the-box. To run LUA scripts you simply long press the MENU button and it takes you to the TOOLS page where you will find all the available LUA scripts including the Crossfire one. I advise you update to the latest 2.3.9 version of OpenTX. Make sure you have the "lua" option ticked when you flash the new version.
