Crazybee f4 lite spins out of control on take off
#1
Happy new year! I've crashed the hell out of my 65mm whoop. And at first it started to drop randomly. I've desoldered everything and checked for anything visible, SPI receiver antenna was torn.. fixed it. Now it arms, but when I apply throttle it spins right or left and shuts off. In betaflight motors are working fine... all the way to 100%. Tried some new motors, external receiver.. different radio (I know it doesn't make much sense Smile) Flashed betaflight and ESCs. And finally I've replaced the gyro and the resonator. Still the same thing. I know it is kind of a wasted time, but I've lost too many aio boards recently Big Grin

one try to find the issue, i would try, add a tiny capacitator. something like 220uf 16v or smaller. maybe there is something noisy.

does it work in betaflight configurator if you spin up all motors the same time?

Tried a 100uf 16v, but I'm not sure if it is low esr, and a 220uf 35v low esr too... it did not changed. In betaflight they are spinning all four at the same time, up to 100%, no cogging at all. Next I'll flash a regular blheli_s firmware, not jesc. I've noticed, that the second startup tone is different (the one for the fc)

do you use rpm filter, maybe overload your chip?
if yes, give it a try on dshot300/600 without rpm filter enabled

Tried that too, cpu load is super low, but same thing. I've just flashed stock blheli- O_H_5_REV16_7.HEX . It does the same thing again.

did you run "tasks" in cli to check the load?

At the beginning probably it was the antenna, then flashing it with betaflight 10.7.0 configurator and the latest firmware messed it up. I am not 100% sure, but now it flies Smile) And to answer your question, I ran tasks and cpu load was fine. Thanks for your help Hugnosed_bat!
