What VTX are you referring to?

the one for the Eachine 220x. a replace ment . I thought I blew the old one in a crash and my bat shorted it.
it still flies Los. but no camera or power to the Vtx.or low power . it seemed around 3.7volts .

the VTX that comes with the Eachine 220X is rated for 7V to 24V according to the spec, so you should be able to power it directly from LiPo.

I would put 1000 uf low ESR capacitor on lipo leads.

would that be from bat terminal inline with power going into the esc? or from bat + on the esc to the Vtx?
thanks again

Neg of capacitor to neg lipo pad
Pos of capacitor to pos lipo pad

so would I use a 25v if I'm going to use 5s in the future or am I looking at the voltage to the Vtx? as the rate of the cap?

Thanks F.K.

25v would be at the limit of the vtx voltage capacicty (how much power it will allow before it fries). Wiring +\- to Lipo connection on the FC would keep you within the tolerable range as long as you use up to 5s.  The capacitor mentioned above will filter voltage spikes protecting components and allowing for a cleaner video feed.  1000 uf should be sufficient for your stated use. so just those capacitors with the two ends soldered on to the pads of the bat +&- that's it the solder the Vtx onto the pads as well ?
Thanks Fisher King.
