1 Does anyone have this combo? I bought mine and when I got it the receiver has heat shrink over the bind button. Am I supposed to cut the heat shrink or is there a different way to bind. I also have a BetaFPV 65 Pro whoop that I can bind in the CLI but I tried that mode and it did not work.
Thanks
Don

786 You can only bind the SPI receivers (which your Beta65 Pro has) and Spektrum receivers using CLI commands.
With the R-XSR you have to press the bind button on it. Sometimes you can press the button through the heatshrink, but if not then you might get away with poking a hole in the heatshrink with a pin so you can then use a something through the hole to press the button which will avoid having to cut the heatshrink off and then apply a new piece again afterwards.

1 The manufactures know that the receivers have to be bound, why don't they make it easier to bind??? Thanks for all your help. I also looked at GepRC's site and they do not even have a manual for this model.

388 Pressing the button with shrink wrap is easy. Usually not a problem. I rather have it that way instead of receiver coming unwrap and you having to desolder everything to shrink wrap yourself.
