As long as it is updated to version 32.7 or newer?

All BLHeli_32 ESC's support bi-directional dshot and telemetry. 32.7 is good enough and I have used this is the past.

The firmware concerns are normally with BLHeli_S ESC's. This is where we flash BlueJay or BLHeli_M to enable dshot telemetry for rpm filtering.
