Blue Light of Death Tinyhawk 2
#16
Damn.. … still solid blue.. have no idea.. if u can’t connect to beta flight..I also don’t know what else can be done to “gain access”..
But no need to toss that whoop.. I have kept several tinyhawks from the trash can..besides the AIO FC the motors Emax proprietary is u can’t use other props with the Tinyhawk.. meaning u can’t mount them “normal” they need to be inverted (pusher). They will work, but the prop design, reversing them they aren’t efficient. The TH frame is also “flawed” in that if u land hard, the motor bells easily hit, causing the props to “crack” break.
I found a good replacement fc and frame. The Emax aio isn’t just expensive, they are hard to find..just practice ur soldering before doing this ..
I’m gonna do a thread on this

I like it. A lot. I’ve no problem soldering. I used to make electronic components, and a lot of surface mount rework for an marine auto pilot manufacturer. All MetCal stations, they are nice.

Yeah not sure what I’m going to do about this. Emax wanted a video of it so I sent them what they needed, and haven’t heard back from them as of yet. I’ll keep trying different things who knows.

So I’ve ordered a Jumper T Pro 4/1 with Micro ELRS Module to see if I’m having radio issues. That should be here this week sometime.

Radiomaster T12 seems to have issues. The new T Pro, bound right up and we are flying. Now I just need to tune it down a bit for in the house and I think we're good. Thanks for all the assistance and advice. Now to work on the Naz/Zorro-ELRS project.

Thanks again Everyone.

So.. ur Tinyhawk is up and flying?? And it was the controller? I’m still curious why you were not able to access the fc in betaflight..

Yeah, not sure about that one. Don’t matter much now. The Kite/Drone Eating Tree has mine now. I have the EV800D Goggles right now and can’t wear them due to my needing glasses. So I did a punch out with the 2s battery and up and away she went. Tried to bring it down but the wind caught it and over the house, she went. I’ve tried using my Tello to spot it but no go. So I have another one on the way as well as new EV300o goggles, and drone buzzers for both the Tinyhawk and my Nazgul which I just got up and flying an hour ago with a Zorro ELRS. All will be here Monday.

Well go get it back.  LoL.  Get some ropes and get yourself up in the tree to retrieve it (or pay an arborist to do it for you).

So don't know if this would work for you or not.  If you can get some reading glasses that are similar to the ones you normally wear.  They don't have to be perfect, just near enough you can see the screen.  Remove the arms from them and then use some blu-tack (or similar adhesive putty) on the sides of the goggles before the screen to hold them in place.  This is how I did it on my VR02 goggles.  Apologies for the crap photo. Tongue

I know that feeling, I got mine back, but it scared the crap out of me.  Serious brown underwear moment, LOL.  Flying on a windy day in a place surrounded by big trees was unwise.  But if you learn from it, that's all that matters.
