Looking for Black Friday good deals and coupons? Here is a round up of the ones I've found so far, I will try to add more in the next few days: https://oscarliang.com/fpv-coupons-good-deals/ (looks like the old page is still cached, i just added a couple more and it's not showing yet) If you have other good deals that I missed please let me know and I will add to the page • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 26-Nov-2019, 02:34 AM (This post was last modified: 26-Nov-2019, 02:34 AM by the.ronin.) Thanks for the list Oscar. No offense but any *real* deals out there? It's not just for drones or FPV but generally I see these Black Friday sales are just 10% off. That's like any other coupon code. Heck I can just email the guy and usually get a 20% coupon just for asking. And if its more than 10% its usually for closeout stuff that no one wants anymore like a old tiny whoop lol. • Posts: 5,323 Threads: 674 Likes Received: 3,159 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 (26-Nov-2019, 02:34 AM)the.ronin Wrote: Thanks for the list Oscar. Well, that's what sales are about isn't it? pushing products that aren't selling that well I did ask quite a few large RC online shops, and that's all they have at the moment, not much I can do If there are specific products you want discount on, just let me know, I can usually get it from Banggood, can't say the same about other shops though. Anyway, it's great to see at least something that's better than the PH 2.0 connector. Smart on BetaFPV's part. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 (27-Nov-2019, 05:10 PM)the.ronin Wrote: Thank you voodoo!! Welcome to the club Did you get the full size or micro? Now you don't have to risk your X-Class on the R9 system On the QX7 you can actually do a software mod instead of installing the inverter if you don't want to make hardware modifications. You just need to lower the hardware baud rate in OpenTX and everything then works. Obviously there is a slight increase in latency but JB says he can't tell the difference when using that method, so unless you're a top racing pilot it's realistic alternative option. I'm not sure if the Horus X10S and/or FrOS supports the same soft mod method as I've not looked. • Posts: 12,099 Threads: 125 Likes Received: 3,739 in 2,836 posts Likes Given: 99 Joined: Feb 2017 Reputation: 388 (28-Nov-2019, 09:38 AM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: Welcome to the club Did you get the full size or micro? I'm not sure if the Horus X10S and/or FrOS supports the same soft mod method as I've not looked. I went with the Lite. Full minus the Bluetooth. Didn't think I would ever use it. The mod does not look terribly difficult. I have been wanting a Jumper T16 just to play around with OpenTX. I actually quite like FrOS and didn't want to move to OpenTX. I doubt FrOS support the same soft mod. Too bad Heli-Nation sold out if the Jumper T16 Pro, otherwise I would have gotten it with the 20% off. I think I will write them to see if they will give me a raincheck on the discount when the radio does come it. On a side note, Heli-Nation has buy 4 get 1 free Crossfire nano SE receiver deal (receiver and immoral T antenna). And 20% off discount works. Comes out to be $22.50 each. Normally the receiver is $30 and antenna is $6. https://www.heli-nation.com/team-blacksh...get-1-free On a total off the topic, Heli-Nation has these hand tuned antenna for both the receiver. The reviews look great. I am requesting that Krohsis makes a tutorial how to make one of these but for the nano receiver. • |
