Help with Tinyhawk S
#1
All,
I have just picked up a Tinyhawk S and am having trouble getting it to bind to my transmitter. I have a Jumper T12+ with an external RF module (The JP4-in-1 that it came with).
In OpenTX, in the model setup, internal RF is off. Should the External RF be set to "Mult", then FrSky, then D8, or XJT, then D8?, or should it be set to Sbus, which removes all other options?

On the Tinyhawk, there is only 1 button visible (right above the micro-USB port). When I power the drone up. the red and blue lights on the right side of the lower board flash alternatingly, when I hold the button for 2 seconds, the LEDs on the upper board light up.

The Tinyhawk manual isn't that great in this area. Can any other Tinyhawk pilot help me here?

i dont own a tinyhawk s, short watch gives me the impressions you did try to use the boot button on the board. the bind button is labeled on the bottom side of your board, like on this picture;

So, after watching some videos online, it seems that you either have to remove the battery tray to see the switch, or if you know exactly where it is, you can push it with a thin piece of plastic. After some surgery last night, I was able to bind it. Did not have the AUX channels set up correctly in my radio's model setup, so I have not flown it yet.
