i recently purchased some ESC's (emax BLHeli 20A nano's ) but didnt realize they were with ( NO BEC ).. does this pose any problem!!!!! not familure  with ESC's 
i normally build with a 4 in 1.. but the more i fly the faster i want to go.   so im moving into ESC's now to try to make lighter builds..... 

BEC is just 5V supply. Most of us buy without BEC. Separate ESC isn't necessary lighter. If you want less weight, the frame and motor is usually you want to consider. Although everything counts.

ESC's for Mini Quad really don't need to have BEC on them, most FC these days can take direct input from LiPo, and power your RX.
