Battery Cells and Voltage wrong.
#1
Hey guys,

I got this drone that I built like 2 months ago. Finally, I made it read the voltage and display it on the OSD, but I still getting weird information from the batteries. I have 4 batteries, 2 Tattu R-Line 4s 1300 95c version 1 and 2 Tattu FunFly 4s 1550 100c.

One of the issues is that one of the R-Line batteries is being read as 5s by Betaflight and all the other batteries are read as 4s, and at some point during the flying, the drone starts beeping as he is reading that each cell of the battery is lower than 3.3 volts, even when the battery is around 17.4 or so (this is read by betaflight, the charger shows me that the battery is at 16.25).

Second is that all the batteries, even the 4s are being read wrong, betaflight is reading almost one volt over the real value that I get from the battery charger.

Did any of you have these problems before? What can I do to fix this?

The FC + ESC I am using is: iFlight SucceX-E Mini F4 FC Stack + 45A 2-6S BLHeli_S 4-in-1 ESC (MPU6000)

Thanks!!!

You voltage scale is incorrect. You need make sure that you have the voltage sensor set to onboard ADC. Then adjust scale until the BF voltage matches the the reading from the charger.

The reason why BF is saying 5S and not 4S, because your voltage is too high. BF does not know what how many cells you plug it. It just knows the overall voltage. If the voltage is too much higher than what a 4S lipo should be, it will think you plugged in a 5S. The same goes if you plugged in a 4S that is super low. It will think you plugged in a 3S.

As an addition to what Vodoo mentioned, to calibrate your voltage scale have a read of Oscar's following blog article at the link below, or watch Whirly Bloke's 5 minute video if you prefer to follow an interactive type tutorial instead.
