Banggod 5" frame
#1
Hi all.
I'm busy designing my 5" build (noob) and am contemplating different frames. I saw some good reviews of the CatalystMachineWorks Banggod, specifically for those that may hit a few things head on. Do you guys think its any good. Sure, the support bracing may add a few grams to the build but if it saves me some heartache with some collisions while I'm learning, would be worth it..... Or is it just a gimmick? One thing that I am worried about is that the arms look thin.
Thanks
Alam

I have the 7" frame and I love it. I suggest using the extra support piece for the rear. The frame is a little on the heavy side though so be prepared for that. Definitely no gimmick. I've crashed mine without a scratch.

There is no reason for concern regarding the Banggod arms. They do look thin from the top, but they are thick height wise. I bought this frame just for this reason, as the thin width arms gives you better efficiency out of the props. Im not a fan of thick arms, as the ImpulseRC Apex has the thickest Id even consider buying. HyperLow frames makes some of the most trick arms Ive seen yet, besides the Permethius. They have arms 5mm wide and 15mm high. Too bad they are always out of stock.
