Babytooth rx intermident slow controls
#1
Hi
I have been flying my FPV cycle babytooth for a few months and love it....however, I started to get slow control response like a loose antena. Re soldered the antena and the issue remained so I switched to new RX. After a few weeks the issue came back.
Fly for a pack or 3 then the quad gets drunk and has very slow and sluggish response and over correction. The next day it starts all over, flying fine until it doesn't. Changing packs doesnt help. I have not tried again in say 20 minutes to see how long to reset and return to normal.
Thinking it was failing gyro or heat related...
Could it be delay in video feed? but it seems smooth...
would apreciate any help.

Maybe the MCU is getting overloaded, which poses the following questions:-
  1. What FC is it running?
  2. What PID loop frequency are you running?
  3. What DSHOT speed are you running?
  4. Are you using bi-directional DSHOT (for RPM filtering)?

Even if the cpu load percent is low.. 1s FCs has been Kababs nemesis.. he is still trying to locate one that worth a crap.. the past year the AIO board are sprouting up more and more.. quality at first was the same, but with the magic 250g number... companies see a definite market and are improving them..

Wow, got locked out of my account and finally gave up with new passwords and re-registerd.
Thanks...
1. fpv cycle AIO 1s
2. 8.00Khz
3. dshot 600
4. not on bidirectionsal

I thought I would change my gyro frequenzy to 4.khz to see what would happens. It has been kind of windy so haven't had a chance to fly, And its kind of freaky when controls go bad can be hard to get it on the ground safely.
